Mani-Rimdu or The mask dance festival is being celebrated performing different ritualistic dances. Mani-Rimdu represents the dramatic triumph of Buddhism over Bon. The first day of the Mani-Rimdu is begins 13th day of the 9th month according to Tibetan calendar. However Mani-Rimdu is performed till 17th day, the day third or full moon day is the main attraction for this celebration. Mani-Rimdu has been celebrating in Tyangboche, Thame and Chiwang Monasteries.
