Acclimatization is very essential for higher altitudes to avoid mental or physical sickness and to ensure the successful climb of Nirekha Peak. Besides, Namche Bazaar is an extensive market town where there is always something to see and places to explore. For acclimatization, we can hike up to Khunde Hospital which was set up by Sir Edmund Hillary, or an hour's walk up to Syangboche at 3800 meters for best views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru. There are good views from the National Park Centre and the Museum which is located just above the town.

From Namche Bazaar we will follow the route that heads all the way up to Khumjung, a picturesque village that also has its own Gompa at the top end of the town. Gokyo Ri is considered as one of the finest viewpoints in the entire Everest region. We start early and follow a steep trail that zigzags up the hillside. After about two hours of the tiring climb, we will reach the summit of Gokyo Ri. We will witness the magnificent sunrise view over the summits of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, Makalu and other neighbouring high peaks. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinne

By now we are technically around 5,000 meters above sea level, so acclimatization is very crucial to avoid mental and physical sickness and to ensure our successful climb to the summit. Hence, today we will take a rest for acclimatization and explore around the base camp. Our Sherpa crew will make necessary preparations for setting up camps at higher altitudes.

Accommodation:- Tented Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leaving the base camp, we continue on our trail that ascends steeply for a few hours. We may need to make use of fixed ropes and crampons as the trail to the high camp is often snow-covered and slippery. Hurrying in high alpine altitude is no good idea, so moving one step at a time we head towards a good camping site, where we will set up our High Camp. Our Sherpa crew will make the final preparations for the main summit climb attempt of Nirekha Peak, the following day.

Accommodation:- Tented Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today is the day we were desperately waiting for. Fully acclimatized and properly equipped we start early with the vision to reach the summit before noon, as the strong winds after midday can create obstacles in reaching the summit. Following the footsteps and guidance of our experienced climbing experts, we will overcome many technical sections and head towards the summit of Nirekha Peak. Our tiring climb to the summit is rewarded with breathtaking views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, Pumori, Thamserku, Tawche, Ama Dablam and other surrounding high mountains. We will spend short quality time at the summit and descend following the same route back to base camp.

Accommodation:- Tented Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After successfully achieving the summit of Nirekha Peak, we will take it easy and start our return journey from the base camp by retracing our steps on the same trail that passes through Dragnag and towards the beautiful Gokyo valley. We will have our lunch at Gokyo and continue on our trek to reach back to Machhermo for our overnight stay.

Accommodation:- Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

From Machhermo we will follow a rather easy downhill trekking passing through several summer settlement areas to reach Dole. Our trail from Dole is a steep downhill trekking through dense rhododendron forest towards Phortse Tenga. From there we climb up to a ridge and continue trekking as we pass along the settlement of Khumjung. A rather easy trail from there will lead us back to the Sherpa capital - Namche Bazaar.
